Step 1 — Attend the training 

Participate in a TDHCA Real Estate Specialist training session to learn how our homebuyer programs work, including eligibility requirements, income and purchase price limits, homebuyer education, and how to collaborate with TDHCA-approved lenders.

Step 2 — Get Listed in the TDHCA Directory

Agents who complete the training are automatically included in the TDHCA Real Estate Specialist Directory, helping connect homebuyers with knowledgeable agents across Texas.

Step 3 — Qualify for the Specialist Designation

A select group of agents may be eligible to earn the TDHCA Real Estate Specialist Designation and Digital Badge based on additional selection criteria and program engagement.
